A tale of falling in and out of love with a cheater, and how you can easily lose your own sense of identity by trying to live in a situation where they hurt you but won’t let you go. In the mean time Black Hole is the first song on Aurora, starting the album off with a bang, a fast paced song about betrayal and despair. With some killer guitar riffs, power vocals, driving bassline and a mini drum solo this song is a crash course in Dirty Earthistry.

Recording AURORA has been a rewarding process and we love nothing more than to share with you our hard work. We are proud to announce a sneak peek of our first single BLACK HOLE.  The official release date to media is the 24^th of March but our fans are more important so we have decided to share the song early and for free download for the next 7 days.

BLACK HOLE is when you know someone has done the wrong thing by you and you get dragged to that dark place, there’s no sunshine just a Black Hole in the sky. We’ve all been there but what we forget is all the beauty that is hidden by the darkness. This song if for anyone that has been put down, abused, mistreated or just plain lied too, if you have stood the test of time and have come out the other side than join us, on the Road to Aurora.

 

The Road to Aurora tour starts this month with single set for release on the 24th of March. More dates to announce soon.

We have just finished recording what will be The Dirty Earth's 3rd studio album which will be titled Aurora, 10 epic tracks in total ranging from blues, stoner to good ole rock n roll, we even have something a bit different which will further broaden our musical horizons. 

Aurora is set for release later in the year, if you can’t wait for the release you can get a taste of whats to come at a gigging soon.

Welcome to 2017, first show for the year. Petersham Bowling Club will be feeling the rock vibes on Sunday the 26th of February when 3 mighty fine Sydney bands team up to pleasure your ear drums with the sweet sounds of rock n roll. It’s going to be good times all round when The Dirty Earth, Arrowhead, Hurst and Bitch Music rip through their unique and diverse styles of rock and rock, with a little something for everyone. Lovers of quality music won’t be disappointed. Bowls, Beer and Bands, Sunday afternoons should always be this good.

Entry is $10, bands kick off at Doors open at 4pm and bands kick off at 5pm.
