the Dirty Earth

On the 27th of Feb we did our last show at the Townie with Mandy on vocals, its was the end of era for one chapter of The Dirty Earth and the beginning of a new chapter. Over the last few weeks we have met and auditioned some really talented people and we want to thank everyone that contacted us and those that came along to the auditions, it was such a rewarding process but one we hope we won't have to repeat again.

Unfortunately for some we had to make some tough decisions, but in saying that, we feel we have made the right choice for us to move forward and do justice to the legacy left to us by Mandy. It was always going to be a tough job finding a new singer, we tried out both male and female singers all of which were outstanding, but when we heard Tenille we knew that we had met the future singer of The Dirty Earth. 

It is with great pleasure that we announce Tenille Rogers as front woman for The Dirty Earth. Tenille brings a new dynamic to the band, a youthful enthusiasm and an absolutely outstanding voice that blew us away at her audition. Whilst we start to work on some new songs we are going hit the town in celebration of this exciting news to play a few shows from our back catalogue and introduce Tenille to you in person.
Our first show will be at the Townie in Newtown on the 10th of June. Hope you can come and see the The Dirty Earth be reborn.
